The joint grant call for water technology research by KAUTE and the Erkki Paasikivi Foundation will once again be held from 21 August to 15 September, 2023. Grants are awarded for research periods of 3-12 months to researchers in the early stages of their careers.
The water technology grants are awarded to projects related to water technology research and development. Grants are primarily awarded for doctoral research and postdoctoral research. The aim is to ensure long-term funding, especially for young researchers’ projects.
Funding can be applied for a research period of three, six, or 12 months. The grant amounts available in 2023 are:
- Three-month period: €6,000
- Six-month period: €12,000
- Twelve-month period: €24,000
The grants are open for application to Finnish citizens and citizens from other countries that live in Finland. You can read about previously funded researchers here.
The joint water technology grant call for proposals will be held for the fourth time. The purpose of the joint grant call is to make the application process as easy as possible for the researchers.
