This year, KAUTE Foundation’s general grant call received a record-breaking 675 applications. The total amount of funding applied for was €14,483,307.

“The number of applications is the highest in the foundation’s history. It reflects both the significant need for research funding and the strong awareness of our foundation among researchers in the fields we represent”, says Tuomas Olkku, Executive Director of the KAUTE Foundation.
In 2025, the foundation received 481 applications, with a total of €9.5 million requested.
Grant decisions will be made at the beginning of May. “Our reviewers are now getting to work, and I’m confident that we will once again identify the most suitable researchers for the foundation from this large group.”
Thank you to everyone who applied!
