KAUTE Foundation’s and Erkki Paasikivi Foundation’s joint grant call for research in water technology is open from August 16 to September 17. The purpose of the joint grant call is to support especially research projects by young researchers.
The grants are primarily awarded for doctoral dissertations or for post-doctoral research in water technology research and development projects. The grant call is focused on research and development of clean water technologies. The grants are awarded for full-time research work primarily for a working period of three, six or twelve months
“In Finland we have globally high-level water technology research. With this grant call we want to reach the researchers in this field and bring more visibility to this research field in general,” says Executive Director of KAUTE Foundation Tuomas Olkku.
The first grant call was organised last year. With the joint grant the foundations hope to make it easier for the researchers in water technology to apply for funding. Last year the foundations awarded over 130,000 euros to six researchers.
