Finland is home to a great deal of high-level research in water technology and the development of high-quality water-related innovations. Research focused on water is essential, as water is the foundation of all life. Through this grant call for water technology research, researchers can reach both foundations with a single application.
The KAUTE Foundation and the Erkki Paasikivi Foundation award grants for research and development projects related to water technology. The joint grant call will take place from 18 August to 19 September 2025.
This joint call allows for multi-year funding, particularly for early-career researchers and their projects. The funding also encourages researchers to build international networks. The online application system will open on 18 August, at which point applicants can complete and submit their applications.
