PhdTube – A new scholarship for PhD studies at LSE


The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the top universities in the world and an international research community at the heart of London. PhD Tube offers a full scholarship (4-year) for one Finnish student to complete his or her PhD at LSE. LSE and the Helsinki-based KAUTE Foundation have agreed on a co-operation to further links between LSE and Finland. KAUTE Foundation will fund a full PhD scholarship at the LSE for one Finnish doctoral candidate, starting in 2015-16. The agreement will ensure funding for a Finnish MPhil or PhD candidate. The Scholarship covers tuition fees and maintenance in London for four years (for Department of Economics tuition fees and partial maintenance). The scholarship is open to citizens or residents of Finland. The scholarship will be awarded to a PhD candidate who holds an offer with any LSE department with preference for candidates entering departments related to trade and industry.
